COAST Designs is made up of a talented and passionate professional who is fully committed to providing each client with the space they truly need. Whether it's designing a new office or a bathroom, I listen to each client in order to fully understand what they need, whether it is comfort, functionality, or a combination of both.
I am dedicated to helping my clients fall in love with their space. I will explore every corner for creative possibilities in order to come up with the best use of existing dimensions. COAST Designs, LLC was established in 2013 in my old hometown of Savannah, Georgia. The company's humble beginnings derived from a passion for interior design and wanting to create unique and inviting spaces for my family. Having always renovated our personal homes, I decided to take my passion for design to the next level and completed an Interior Design certification program. Upon completion, I quickly discovered that well built, stylish, and affordable furniture was impossible to find so I turned to re-designing old furniture and updating it to fit today’s modern lifestyle. Initially, I used old family heirlooms and then began frequenting thrift stores in search of quality furniture pieces, distinctive lighting, and home decor that could be refurbished and or/repurposed to create one-of-a-kind designs. This developed into a business venture when I opened my first furniture booths at two popular retail locations in Savannah. After multiple requests from friends and family for design assistance, I branched out into interior design.
In 2018, my husband accepted a new position near DC and we relocated to Frederick, MD, where I previously spent time as a child. With a degree in Business Management, I made the decision it was time to pursue my business full time and established my first brick and mortar design studio in 2020. COAST is proud to offer cool, unique, funky, shabby chic, retro, vintage-modern design consultation and services at price points comfortable to the masses. The company name came from my love of the Coast, but I also wanted it to reflect how much I value unique design that is modest enough for everyone to enjoy. Therefore, I created a representation that transcends this philosophy.
